物語The story
人類は突然の大氷河期によって滅び、地球に新たな生命体が降り立つ。彼女らは冷凍保存された人類文明を模倣し、瞬く間に都市「ディンナム」を築き上げる。Humanity is wiped out by a sudden ice age, and a new species lands on Earth. Imitating the frozen remains of human civilization, they swiftly build the city of Dinnum.
その中心にあるディンナム・アカデミーに転校したハスイは、故郷と家族を失ったトラウマから心を閉ざしていた。孤独な日々のなか、校内で偶然映写機を見つけたことをきっかけに「映画」と出会う。Hasui, a transfer student at Dinnum Academy, has shut herself off after losing her home and family. Then she stumbles on a projector at school, and discovers film.
人類ヲタクであることがバレた元“学園のアイドル”ダン、部内の軋轢に嫌気が差して軽音部を辞めたばかりのエシエネ。映画をつくる試みは「ソウゾウ規制法」に触れ、当局の目を引いてしまう。これは、映画がロストテクノロジーとなった地球で起きた、ネオ・シネマ・パラダイス。With Dan, a fallen school idol outed as a human-culture otaku, and Eshiene, fresh out of the light-music club, she starts making a movie, and runs straight into the Anti-Imagination Act. A neo Cinema Paradiso on an Earth where film is lost technology.

- 許可のないオリジナルの創作を厳しく制限する法律。A law that strictly restricts unlicensed original creation.
- UTAYAUTAYA
- 氷河に埋もれたレンタルビデオショップ。映画部の拠点。A video rental shop buried in a glacier, and the film club’s base.
